Covers flight line memorial services for crew of C-123B shot down during a supply mission in Quang Duc Province killing all aboard. 1) Shows sign: 315th TROOP CARRIER GROUP (ASSAULT). 2) Scenes of flag-draped caskets arriving by station wagon and being placed on supports in front of C-123B. 3) USAF and VNAF personnel in formation and saluting. 4) Chaplains Maj. David W. Mineau and Capt. George H. Updegrove speaking at services. 5) Amb. Maxwell Taylor, Gen. William C. Westmoreland (USA), Maj. Gen. Joseph H. Moore, Comdr. 2nd Air Div., Maj. Gen. Nguyen Cao Ky, Comdr. VNAF, and TSgt Melvin I. Halverson (brother of deceased crewman) at attention and seated. 6) Shows Vietnamese decorations on pillow. 7) Maj. Gen. Ky (VNAF) placing Vietnamese medals on flag-draped caskets. 8) Shows formation of five C-123Bs in flyover--one slot is vacant symbolizing the missing aircraft.
